Photos and videos from my wreck dive

Sugarwreck, Perhentian islands, Malaysia

Visibility wasn’t the greatest, which is why there’s so much silt and bits floating around. Also, because of the depth and not having an expensive camera with a strobe, the vids are blue. Still was cool to be there, even if the photos aren’t so great.

In the meantime, enjoy the videos!

Porcupine puffer fish, I believe!

Lion fish – very poisonous – you don’t want to get too close to these.

Danger everywhere – sea urchin and scorpion fish can be found all over the wreck, and you don’t want to get too close to those suckers either.

The wreck, as seen from higher up

My dive buddy, Per

Me and my new bandana – helps when everyone looks the same underwater, and also keeps my hair from getting tangled by my mask

  1. Yes, rented from the dive company for 60 RM, and they also burn the photos to CD for you as well. Per has some really excellent photos of the coral and the whale shark from his dive on Pinnacle!
